摘要：	The timing of the amalgamation of the Yangtze and Cathaysia Blocks,which is crucial in understanding the assembly of the Late Mesoproterozoic to early Neoproterozoic Rodinia supercontinent,is a topic of long standing debate. The 840-820 Ma Yuanbaoshan Stype granites in the western segment of the 1500 km long Jiangnan orogen and several ca.820 Ma SP granitic intrusions at Jiuling,Xucun,Xiuning,and Shexian in the eastern segment,are thought to constrain the final collision between the Yangtze and Cathaysia Blocks.However,up to now,no Stype granitoids have been reported to occur in the middle segment of the Jiangnan orogen,wherea Neo-proterozoic ophiolitic suite was reported to occur.
