摘要: | Rb-Sr dating of sphalerites has been shown a promising and effective technique for the direct dating of Pb-Zn deposits.However,this technique is still questioned by some scholars due to the divergent opinions about the occurrence of Rb and Sr and the dating mechanism.This study analyzed the contents of Rb,Sr,Pb,Zn,Fe,Ca and Mg in the hand-picked sphalerites,diluted acid leachates and sulfide residues,respectively.The analytical data shows that Rb,Pb,Zn and Fe are mainly distributed in the sulfide residues and the contents of Fe and Rb displays an approximately positive correlation with those of Zn,which indicates that the ion pair of Rb+ and Fe3+ possibly substitutes Zn2+ into the crystal lattices of sphalerites according to the ion substitution formula of 2Zn2+=Rb++M3+. |
